You Are Needed: the Institute's End-of-Year Campaign
The Institute for Jewish Ideas and Ideals asks you to join our growing family of members and supporters by making your end-of-year contribution to our campaign. Contributors/new members who donate $100 or more before December 31, 2009 will receive a free copy of Rabbi Marc D. Angel's new book, "Maimonides, Spinoza and Us: Toward an Intellectually Vibrant Judaism." Contributors of $1000 or more will also receive Prof. Pinchas Polonsky's book on the Religious Zionism of Rav Kook.
All contributors will have the satisfaction of knowing they are helping the Institute in its work to foster an intellectually vibrant, compassionate and inclusive Orthodox Judaism.
The Institute maintains an active and informative website (jewishideas.org); publishes the journal, Conversations, three times per year; sponsors a University Network for college and graduate students; issues a weekly Angel for Shabbat column; sponsors programs; distributes books that promote an intelligent Orthodoxy, and more. The Institute has been the catalyst for the formation of a new Orthodox rabbinic group, the International Rabbinic Fellowship. The Institute is expanding its work into Israel, where it will be sponsoring events and publishing works in cooperation with like-minded groups there. To maintain this momentum we need your generous support.
You may make your contribution and/or become an Institute member online at our website, jewishideas.org; or you may send your check to the Institute for Jewish Ideas and Ideals, 8 West 70th Street, New York, NY 10023. The Institute is a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation; contributions are tax deductible to the extent of the law.
Thanks very much for being a partner of the Institute. Together we can do great things.
